Southwest Airlines Adds Seasonal Nonstop Service Between Oklahoma City and Baltimore
Oklahoma City – Travelers flying out of Oklahoma City will soon have a direct option to the Baltimore-Washington region as Southwest Airlines introduces a new seasonal nonstop route from Will Rogers International Airport.

The weekly service will begin on June 6, 2026, and continue through August 1, 2026, with flights operating on Saturdays throughout the summer travel season.
The addition restores a direct connection between Oklahoma City and the Baltimore/Washington area, a route that has been unavailable since United Airlines discontinued its nonstop service prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Airport officials welcomed the announcement, noting that the route has been one of the most requested destinations among local travelers. The new service is expected to provide easier access to the nation’s capital region and other destinations throughout the Northeast, while also making travel to Oklahoma City more convenient for visitors.
“This nonstop route offers greater flexibility for both business and leisure travelers,” said Jeff Mulder, Director of Airports for Oklahoma City. “Direct access to the Baltimore/Washington area strengthens travel opportunities for residents and supports economic and tourism connections between our regions.”
The Saturday-only schedule is designed to accommodate summer vacation plans and family travel, giving passengers a convenient option for weekend departures and returns.
Flight schedules and booking information are available through Southwest Airlines.
